the Natives

A few weeks ago we made up a story with Aubrie about "The Natives" while we were around camp. She has gotten really into it and now we have lots of sightings where the natives used to live, cook, build, etc....
I've been running around the lake everyday and there is this big rock by the dam that we call the Corn grinding rock the Natives used. Everyday we see it and she talks about it as we're going around the lake. So this evening Jeff went down to the rock before us and brought along some corn and popcorn and put it in the holes of the rock with some 'grinding stones' and a few other 'native' items :) Then I took the kids on a native exploring adventure and boy was aubrie impressed with our find!!


Caden had fun too :)
